Audition, self-tape and on-camera work, scene work, creating, and Industry guidance all help you focus your talent and electrify your artistry. This 8 week journey helps you find your unique voice as an actor and reveals what might be in the way of the fullest expression of that voice.
You will work in-Studio for most of your classes, with 1 class on Zoom. Your scene material will be provided for you or you’ll be asked to bring in a scene for 1 unit. After your audition unit’s work is recorded, it will be sent to you for review.
This class is not an audition or employment opportunity and there is no suggestion or guarantee of an audition or employment as a result of taking this class.
"I absolutely loved my time in the Core class. I recommend this class to anyone who needs a renewed sense of fun in their work. After taking many technique-based classes, I needed to infuse ‘me’ back into my work and my process. The unique way BGB has crafted this course aids each actor in developing their own way. I can't even fully describe how amazing this class was for me and the immediate difference I began to see and feel in my work."
- Taylor Polidore, BLACK LIGHTNING
"Your Studio, starting with The Core, has completely changed my life for the better these last two years. Many thanks!"
- Ryan March, GILMORE GIRLS: A YEAR IN THE LIFE
"Trey is a true multi-hyphenate: actor, writer, director, producer. And he's great at all of them. I've acted in his plays, been directed by him and have used his plays in my undergraduate acting classes at UCLA. Trey has also been a guest artist in my class several times so I know how clear, kind and giving he is when working with students. He's also without a doubt one of the nicest, most generous and supportive people I've EVER met. Everyone who knows Trey loves him--and I'm not exaggerating."
- Judith Moreland, PARKS AND RECREATION
"Trey reminds you of the most important thing being an actor. YOU are good enough, because there is no one else like you."
- Shane Jon Roelle, THE BOY THAT ATE THE MOON
