Vaccination Requirements

As of October 2021, some classes will continue Online, others will be conducted at The BGB Studio in North Hollywood.

Everyone who enters our Studio space in North Hollywood is required to show proof of fully completed COVID-19 vaccination and wear a face mask to fully cover their nose and mouth. Masks are required to be worn at all times except when actors are actively working in class on a stage space area. Risa and Steve will always prioritize the health and safety of our BGB community and are continually evaluating the level of safety of in-person classes based on CDC, local and state guidelines. Actors who have not received full COVID-19 vaccinations at least 2 weeks prior to attending class are welcome to continue in our 8 week and ongoing Online classes on Zoom.

All BGB teachers and staff who work in-person at the Studio have been fully vaccinated.

If you have recently traveled by plane or train, or have attended a large event such as a concert or ball game, we strongly recommend that you get tested afterward to ensure that you are COVID free as we all do our part to keep our BGB community safe.

Any actor who learns they have been exposed, or thinks they have been exposed, to COVID-19 should notify the Studio immediately by emailing ASAP, and letting their TA know immediately. Exposure is defined as being notified that someone you have been in contact with has tested positive. The Studio will require that they not attend class for 7 days, starting from the date of exposure and ask them to provide a negative testing before they return. If they do not know the date of exposure, the 7 days will start from the date of their first negative COVID test after exposure. The Studio Staff will contact the class directly to advise them. The actor will remain anonymous.

We rely on your best judgment where needed and appreciate your diligence in keeping yourself and your BGB class community as safe as possible.
